SPORTS EQUIPMENT TESTING / SPORTS HALLS

We check your sports equipment, sports halls, sports fields or sports facilities according to the current rules of technology. We not only take into account the DGUV Information 202-044 (formerly GUV-SI 8044) but also the respective regulations, standards, applicable guidelines and decrees. According to the Operational Safety Ordinance and DGUV Information 202-044, sports facilities and sports equipment must be checked regularly. Otherwise, the operators are obliged to pay damages. What is this exam for? The legal obligation is the responsibility of the institution responsible for the regular inspection of outdoor sports facilities, sports halls and sports equipment resulting from the general traffic safety obligation (BGB § 823). Sports facilities and sports equipment are to be checked at regular intervals and after changes to ensure that they are in a safe condition, at least for externally visible damage or defects. Regularly recurring tests must be carried out annually, even at shorter intervals. These tests also apply to soccer goals in sports clubs. All permanently installed sports equipment that is exposed to the weather should be checked for safety defects and functionality. Any safety-related deficiencies identified must then be remedied. Examination procedure: Examination of the sports equipment, documentation of the test results in the test report with details of any defects found, assessment of whether there are any concerns about further use. Qualifications: Qualified person for sports equipment (TÜV)
